Busy Summer

 We have been busy handing out medals in attempt to present them as fast as I receive them.  The chicago endurance community has been so gracious and we have received many. Medals have been given to:

• A Northshore School System to be used as a reward for disabled students that graduated from their class level.  
• A private school for children with special needs for Student on the Month recognition
• A child at the Hope to Give Golf Outing

M4M is an official charity of The Bank of America Chicago Marathon!!

Working with Medals4Mettle in Chicago has been such a joy and complete labor of love. Finding recipients is a constant struggle (as I receive SO many medals from amazing athletes) but every single medal presentation makes the calls and solicitations worth it!

I am so excited to make the following announcement!

Medals4Mettle is now an official charity of the 2014 Bank of America Chicago Marathon!   We are pleased to offer guaranteed spots through our fundraising program.  Your fundraising dollars help M4M facilitate medal presentations.

Our fundraising minimum of $1,200 includes race entry, a Chicago-based training program through Run for Change (with a virtual option for those who aren't local), a M4M tech shirt, Crush Multisport Membership for group cross-training options and more!

There is a lot of work ahead but sooo excited to make this happen.
